Indian Institute of Astrophysics is Premier research institute of Astrophysics, Astronomy, Allied Science & Technology. It is going to recruit Research Trainee, Project Clerk, Trainee Electrician, Telescope Operator and Project Associate on different Salary. So, applications are invited from those candidates of India for the recruitment of following post who have all qualification required by IIAP for the suitable post. If they fulfill the said qualifications and Experience may apply in prescribed format to the Administrative Officer of IIAP on or before 21/10/2011. Details are below:
1. Research Trainee:
• Vacancy: 02 Posts
• Age: Below 25 years
• Salary: Rs.16000 (1st year), Rs.17000 (2nd year), Rs.18000 (3rd year) per month
• Qualifications: Master of Science in Physics / Astronomy and Astrophysics with 60% Marks in M.Sc and B.Sc
• Place of Posting: CREST Campus of IIA, Hoskote (Bangalore)
2. Project Clerk:
• Vacancy: 03 Posts
• Age: Below 30 years
• Salary: Rs.12500 per month
• Qualifications: Graduate degree in Science / Commence / Arts / Business Management with two years experience in handling Finance / Accounts matters
3. Trainee Electrician:
• Vacancy: 09 Posts
• Age: below 25 years
• Salary: Rs.10000 per month
• Qualifications: ITI diploma in Electrical trade with experience of 2 years in handling Electrical installations
4. Technician (Electrical):
• Vacancy: 01 Posts
• Age: Below: 25 years
• Salary: Rs.11500 per month
• Qualifications: Electrical Engineering Diploma with experience of 2 years in High voltage equipment, HT Installations
5. Telescope Operator:
• Vacancy: 02 Posts
• Age: Below 30 years
• Salary: Rs.13000 per month
• Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Physics / Computer Science with 3 years experience in VHF radio antennas and circuits
• Place of posting: Gauribidanur (Karnataka)
6. Project Associate:

• Age: Below 30 years
• Salary: Rs.18000 per month
• Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications Computer Science
