The leading PSU of Govt. of India, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) requires result oriented persons for the recruitment of Operator cum Technician (Trainee). In this regard applications are being invited from eligible Indian Nationals in prescribed format. On the basis of regular appointment these 105 posts will be filled. Metallurgy: – 22 (UR-12, SC-02, ST-07, OBC-01)
Electronics: – 12 (UR-08, SC-01, ST-03)
Civil: – 02 (UR)
Age Relaxation: - Age would be relaxed up to 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates, 10 years of PH candidates.
Essential Qualification: - Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in any of Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Electronics, Civil) from Govt. of Recognised institute.
Period of Training: - 02 years
Stipend: - During first year of training Rs. 8250/- per month will be paid and Rs. 9350/- for Second of Training
Note: - Successful completion of Training will give nod to the candidates for regular appointment on the pay scale of Rs. 9160-3%-13150/-

Weight: – 45 kgs (Male), 35 kgs (Female)

(With out Expansion): – 75 cms (Male), 70 cms (Female)
(After Expansion): – 79 cms (Male), 73 cms (Female)
Eye Sight: – 6/6 both eyes
Process of Selection: - It is expected that candidates will be opted after personal interview; but in case massive applications came then only shortlisted candidates will be called for process of selection.
Exam Fee; - Candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- in form of crossed DD for exam fee. The DD should be drawn in favour of “Steel Authority of India Limited, Bhilai Plant” payable at Bhilai.
Fee Exemption: - SC/ST and PH candidates are not required to deposit any exam fee
